About BSBC

A little about me… My name is Amy, and I’ve been happily married to my better half, Sean, for nearly 20 years. Together, we have raised two incredible daughters, now 19 and 16, along with three rescue pups that you’re sure to see in my social media adventures. I hold a bachelor’s degree in finance and an MBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Central Arkansas - Go Bears! Sean is a retired C130J pilot, and you may have spotted him soaring through the Arkansas skies in past years. We established our home in Conway, AR after he retired from the USAF, and we couldn’t be more content with our new community.

I started my career as a financial analyst but soon realized our daughters thrived with me at home. Now, as the “empty nest” is quickly approaching, I have decided to embark on a new adventure. I’m embracing my inner baker, crafting tasty bread for family, friends, and neighbors - and perhaps making a little extra dough along the way. When I’m not kneading dough or being a mom, you’ll find me tending to my garden or diving into ambitious renovation projects around our home.

I chose the name Black Sheep because I like to color outside the lines and have fun in the kitchen. I’ll offer all the classic types and flavors of bread, but I also like to be adventurous with my flavors and will introduce fun new stuff to my menu on the regular. Stay tuned!
